Coatings Division

Hacquard & Compton employs state-of -the-art surface preparation techniques-- wet/dry abrasive blasting, high pressure water blasting, and vacuum power tooling.  Quality coatings are applied to concrete surfaces, steel structures, tanks, and vessel linings.  All work, including confined space and lead abatement projects are accomplished in strict accordance with EPA and OSHA regulations.  Mike Compton and his crew have had extensive training and field experience in lead abatement.  Hacquard & Compton are members of the Society for Protective Coatings, formerly the Steel Structures Painting Council.  Mike Compton is the former Chairman of the South Carolina Chapter of SSPC. Both he and our Vice President, Bill Baker, are NACE certified Coatings Inspectors.
